Historically, Transport for London (TfL) and London boroughs have used injury collisions reported to the police to identify places to improve. This study examined 317 hours of video footage from 60 cyclists. Near misses put people off cycling. Fewer near misses means better conditions for cycling.

Recommissioned a lovely #DawesBike I bought from the refuse and recycling centre (tip) for £10. Needed a new chain and brake and gear levers and a little lubrication of the shifter mechanisms.

The word "Free" is certainly redundant, and perhaps the whole sign is. By and large, people aren't leaving their bikes at the Eclipse (busway) bus stops.

From my experience, Kenley Road has a terrible problem with some drivers racing along it, way in excess of 30 mph. It needs physical measures of some sort. With parking on one side only, it's a drag strip for some.

Today, I learned that, according to Wikipedia, musician Joe Jackson was nicknamed "Joe" because of his resemblance to schoolboy genius spy Joe 90. There was a time at school when I was teased for my likeness to Joe 90, too.

Delighted to see that Kingston Council is building a "swift tower" to provide nesting places for the birds. The tower appears to reference the chimney that was at the original Eagle Brewery. #swifttower

I'm not often an M&S shopper, so I was new to these initiatives to reduce plastic use, and to reduce food waste. The aluminium detergent bottles get refilled apparently, and the 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 that are ripe are sold cheaper(35p for 4) in paper bags. #Tolworth.
