And if you look at the airlines (no slouches in operations) they are all struggling these days with these issues and making money.

Only if you have the exact number of vehicles (forecasting), at the right place (more forecasting), and you didn't blow the budget to keep the vehicles on the road (operations), charged up (more operations), CLEAN (even more operations), do you skweek by profit. And there are more variables

It is a vicious mixture of keeping the planes in the air and doing it at the right times to make sure you make any profit. To do that your operations and planning need to be so so so so so tight. And with AVs it is even harder, not easier, because you have variable routes.

And for most companies building AVs. I feel like they are modeling the business like a ride hail when they need to think of themselves more like an airline. Which should be as scary as it sounds

Would love to get into a conversation about this. As someone in the space there are just so many variables that aren't being discussed beyond even the vehicle that I think is going to make or break these AV companies in the next few years.
