But, if you look at just about any number that would meaningfully tell you how well our economy is doing, Canada does better than the U.S.

Skylight social looks promising as a TikTok replacement. The clear one-sided amplification of rw comments on TikTok in recent months has been problematic. If Skylight operates similarly to how Bluesky does today (and adds more features and users obviously) I could see myself making that switch.

One thing about today's tariff shitshow is that congress could undo all this nonsense tonight and the damage would still be huge, because these actions have decisively signaled that the US is an unreliable international trading partner—and this impacts political and economic strategy worldwide.

First tariff-flagged pricing I've seen so far. Look for the T in the triangle. I don't see how anyone will still be buying that brand, but what do I know.

Seeing lots more comments on tiktok that are obviously fake amplified. There's always been a bit of it, but the increased frequency means it's starting to smell more rotten than before. Probably time to drop from there soon if not now.
