Was the Gradiente Expert a MSX machine? If you asked their laywers, they'd say no. If you ask everyone who patched MSX games to run on the Expert, they'd say yes.

FM Towns - The 'Hypermedia Computer'

The FM stands for Fujistu Micro rather than anything to do with sound (as I once thought it might). Fujitsu had a tradition of code-naming PC projects after Nobel Prize-winning physicists, so the Towns part refers to Charles Townes.

While the Dragon was designed and built in Wales, a licensing agreement with a New Orleans company meant that you could get the Dragon 64, new in box, until 2017, making the Dragon 64 perhaps one of the longest market stays for any micro.
