To grow our party, we need a leader that can articulate our Green vision, inspire British Columbians to act, and deliver results.
I know what it takes to run for office as a Green and win.

One of my proudest accomplishments as a Councillor is leading the task force that got 20,000 more people a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

I'm ready to take what I've learned to the provincial level. Read my plan jonathankerr4bc.com/platform
Congratulations to @emilylowan.bsky.social on the @bcgreens.bsky.social leadership results.

TLDR: no, it's not.

Despite the spin, LNG is a carbon bomb. Our hydro power is already compromised by drought.

We need to use new clean power to support clean industries and communities as they electrify to meet our climate goals.

Is B.C.'s goal of electrifying LNG to reduce natural gas emissions possible?
The NDP is banking on the Site C Dam and a number of new wind projects to help electrify B.C.'s burgeoning natural gas industry.

A great start to the week! An early morning run through James Bay and along the breakwater in Victoria, followed by sessions on Healthcare and Affordable Housing at the first day of the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) conference.

I was so heartened to receive this endorsement from @bcgreens.bsky.social members.

Our members have fuelled the election of our MLAs and Green policy wins like getting corporate money out of politics.

We've made a big mark on this province and we're just getting started. #bcpoli

Doubling down on fossil fuel projects amidst a worsening climate crisis will only make our economy less stable.

One of my first priorities as leader will be to travel the province talking to people about how we can build a sustainable, clean economy instead. #bcpoli

BC needs an economic strategy that will improve our long-term security and stability.

Sadly, the BC NDP’s only idea is to double down on fossil fuels in the middle of a climate crisis and when global commodity prices are in constant flux. #bcpoli

Massive Ksi Lisims LNG approved in B.C. | The Narwhal
B.C. just gave the green light to Ksi Lisims, a project capable of producing almost as much as LNG Canada’s first phase

Our nation building shouldn’t be climate killing.

The federal Liberals and BC NDP are doubling down on fossil fuels, when climate change is costing us billions already.

Phase 2 LNG should not be on PM Carney's major projects lists.

The last thing British Columbians need in these challenging times is more blame, division and resentment.

It's been incredible to travel the province during this leadership, talking with new and longtime members about how we're going to build a better province for everyone.

I'm so grateful for all the support and so excited for the future of the @bcgreens.bsky.social.

Great read from former @bcgreens.bsky.social MLA Adam Olsen on the Premier's harmful comments this week.

If government takes a proactive approach to negotiations, we can work with pursue reconciliation and prosperity at the same time.

Regardless of where they live, health care workers go to work every day with a clear goal: to save lives and keep people healthy.

Since 2023, the WHO has documented 1,580 health care workers killed in Gaza. As a doctor, this has been top of mind ever since the war in Gaza started.

My statement:

A troubling delay from the BC government on its watershed strategy.

This government has been dropping the ball on water, at a time when communities and ecosystems face worsening drought conditions.

Meanwhile, they're giving billions of tons to water to the #fracking industry for next to nothing.
B.C.’s long-promised watershed security strategy is done but it’s not public, The Narwhal has learned. The province has sat on the strategy for more than a year, despite calls to release it. thenarwhal.ca/bc-watershed...

The @bcgreens.bsky.social needs to show people that we are ready to lead - that we’ve got experienced candidates who can work with our incumbent MLAs and deliver real change for people.

I've got the plan and the experience to make it happen. #bcpoli

I'm so grateful for Gillian’s support!

2020 was a tough campaign where @soniafurstenau.bsky.social had only been Leader for 6 days when the BC NDP called a snap election.

But Green organizers worked hard to save our seats, and our MLAs went on to deliver great things for their constituents.
