less surprising when you know the school's history. They literally suspended Jewish students in the 1930s for protesting their ties to the actual Nazi government in Germany. This is basically that. Time is a flat circle (with a cruel sense of irony).

1- The whole, a vote for “x” is really a vote for “y” so you should vote “z” to keep “y” of office because they’re the “lesser evil” thing is a practice that’s been going on for a very long time.

amongst others. epistemic travesty is their bread and butter. adopting the aesthetics of science and mathematics is a ubiquitous propaganda tool these days. used to obfuscate and intimidate the general public who hasn't the time and energy to parse such things and call BS.

Which is something an experimental design class would tell them is absolutely not kosher. The point is to be able to distinguish between what's been proven and what is a post-hoc fallacy. But even their post hoc assertion is weak.
