The downside to my Sigma 150-600mm with my Sony A6500 is that Eye Autofocus does not work so I have to revert to my manual focus skills I learned on my 1970's era Nikon F camera. This Red Shouldered Hawk waited patiently for me to focus.

Got lucky again with the Red Shouldered Hawk at #Ridgefield NWR today. In addition to hunting in the trees, it interacted (harrassed) a larger Red Tailed for about 10 minutes!

This Red Tailed Hawk could weight twice as much as the Red Shouldered #Hawk, so it made good sense why the rarity left its perch in this tree.

Imaged at 125 X magnification and cropped as you can have enough reach. Agreed?
