Don't take this as gospel. It's not official. It's a very knowledgable source's best understanding of the situation. This persons likely Yeses on cloture are. Schumer, Hassan, Peters, Durbin, Schatz, King, Shaheen, Fetterman, Cortez Masto and Gillibrand.

Anyone find it funny how when the UK releases the Cass review to ban trans care, we get everything ranging from New York Times push notifs to op-eds in every major US paper...

But when Germany, Switzerland, and Austria release pro-trans youth care guidelines, not a single article anywhere but mine?

They strongly recommend trans youth care and slam the

So painful to listen to the media sound shocked by what Trump is doing, as if he didn’t say exactly what he would do. What a failure they have been and so many other institutions.

I don’t understand why no one points out the structural problem Republicans have now. Their candidates significantly underperform Trump. Their coalition is tied to Trump and no science yet they can maintain their turnout with low propensity voters.

Are there examples of republicans that can fire up voters like Trump? Trump seems to be an exception to a party that continues to underperform.

I am not worried about the future Dem platform and coalition. Candidates and messaging will be tested in 2026 mid-terms and helped by anti Trump sentiment and a high turnout dem base. The 2028 primary will allow someone to emerge who can build a broad coalition.
