I’m absolutely dreading this heat and mugginess today. We’re looking at mid-90s with dew points in the 70s so it’s going to feel brutal and sticky out there. I’m thinking this might be the perfect excuse to hit up our pool and have some fun cooling off. #NCWX #Yuck

Last night broke my heart. My four-year-old was talking about our dog we lost a year and a half ago. He’s finally realizing he’s really gone. Explaining heaven to an autistic child is so hard. I told him our pup is with Jesus and my dad, playing just like before. 😔

Yesterday, my wife and I took our youngest to the science museum, and it was unreal. He’s got level one autism and usually struggles with lights and sounds, but he handled everything like a champ. Watching him have a blast and seeing that big smile was just awesome.

Rollin’ into another Father’s Day weekend without my dad still feels strange. I miss our Sundays watchin’ golf, mornings fishin’, and those weekly lunches. Though he’s not here, I love him and hope he’s havin’ the ultimate Father’s Day in heaven.
