Man, the NC beaches are getting wrecked this year. Those northeast winds have been brutal, eroding the sand like crazy.
Here's the 12z Euro for the upcoming weekend storm. Going to be a nasty weekend for the Mid-Atlantic with tropical storm like conditions along the coast.

💯 I can’t shake the feeling that UNC is flying under the radar. If everything clicks, they’re gonna be a real matchup problem for most teams.

Massive thanks to the meteorologists here who break down weather events in such detail. With my vision almost completely gone now, I genuinely rely on their deep dives to help me nerd out and actually grasp what's going on with these systems. #WX

Honestly just breathing a sigh of relief seeing those storms track out to sea. The Southeast totally sidestepped what could've been a disastrous hit. The Carolinas desperately need some rain to ease this drought, but I'm so glad it didn't come this way.
Newly-designated invest 94L has 3 general scenarios in today's ensembles:
1) 94L fails to develop beyond a disturbance or weak tropical cyclone
2) 94L develops but recurves offshore near/east of the Bahamas
3) 94L continues NW and indirectly or directly affects the Bahamas & the southeast US

Ultimately, ensemble spread in 94L's track is still quite large beyond 5 days out.
Many uncertainties still exist, such as any interaction with Hispaniola & whether its track is influenced by its proximity to invest 93L to its east.
In the meantime, monitor but don't panic.

I'm at the gym trying to get through this workout, and my body is not having it today. Every rep feels like I'm moving through thick mud or something. But I'm pushing through anyway because I know I'll feel way better after. Just gotta stop being such a baby about it. 😆

Some people at the McDonald's drive-thru have truly lost their mind. Witnessed a lady cussing out the car in front of her for not moving up—when there was physically no room to go. If you can't handle a five-minute wait, maybe a drive-thru isn't for you. The lack of common sense is crazy. 🤦

I've climbed up on my roof so many times and never had a single problem. Today this stupid ladder just decides to break on me out of nowhere. It was perfectly fine before this happened. Now I'm looking at this mangled mess. Thank God I didn't get seriously injured
That Chevy Chase Christmas movie where he falls off the roof? Yeah well I just lived it and it's not funny at all. I fell 25 feet off my roof and landed half in our bush half on the ground. I'm bruised to hell and cut up but man I'm lucky I'm not dead right now 😅

The college football's slate this weekend is awesome! These huge matchups between top-ranked teams right from game one are going to be epic. So ready to see who actually backs up all the preseason talk and who crashes and burns. The playoff hunt starts early this year! 🏈 #cfp

RDU Airport just made sweaty history: On July 18, the temp *never* dropped below 80°F—tying the all-time record high minimum 🌡️. Only four other years (2010, 1942, 1936, 1887) have been this miserably warm at night. My busy week suddenly feels appropriately sticky. #ncwx

I’m so glad SharkFest is back for the summer. I’ve been itching for football to start, and this is the one thing actually keeping me sane while I wait. This season’s been way better than I expected — they really stepped it up. 🦈

I feel so bad for the families who lost their kids in those terrible Texas floods. The National Weather Service warned everyone—they did what they could. This was all on nature. Losing 120 people, mostly kids, is tragic, but blaming others won’t help. We need to focus on healing. 💔 #Texas
