Agents need these jobs for medical insurance. A lot of them are sympathetic to your concerns. MC global (upper level of corporate, above regional corporate) is hounding bosses to end this and bosses are snapping at workers as a result. Please be kind when you call, they’re getting slammed (2)

I’ve heard you can literally, physically see the strain on these call center workers between shifts while they’re out and about. Cannot stress enough that this call campaign is way more effective than some people realize. Please be kind when you call. (3)

I’m sorry folks, but opportunities to support me financially are literally being pulled from the internet. Even if you don’t listen to ASMR, at this point the best thing you can do to help me is actually subbing to my SubStar

This is why yall need to continue to contact your representatives about paypros, this is banking discrimination
Friend tried to donate to my Throne, flagged by fraud detection at Bank of America — bank identified the transaction as specially for “giantess voretuber Ana Valens”

I suspect I faced those Patreon / Ko-fi dings b/c financial institutions have me, specifically, on record as a high risk recipient!

Mastercard: Sex Work is Work. End Your Unjust Policy.
Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It must be stopped.

Good morning my lovelies! Another friendly reminder to make phone calls and write physical letters to Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, Paypal, etc!

Don't let up! Let these these companies know (politely) exactly how you feel about controlling and restricting the legal adult media you can buy online!
Hey, it would mean so much to me if y'all kept up the pressure with phone calls to payment processors to show to them how much people care and that they can't just ignore it—my livelihood depends on adult games not being censored!

You can find info and phone scripts here: stop-paypros.neocities.org

As someone who used to work in a call center, if you get disconnected you call back and say you want to escalate to a supervisor immediately because of it. You don't have to say boo more than that; most bottom-rung phone drones are going to be glad to bump you on hold to be someone else's problem.

Steam and itch.io have removed thousands of video games in recent weeks deemed to be "adult content" in order to comply with strict rules from payment processors like Mastercard.

These policies censor artists engaged in lawful speech. Mastercard shouldn't be the gatekeepers of our digital freedom.
Why did thousands of adult titles just disappear from the biggest PC gaming marketplaces?
Digital distribution platforms Steam and itch.io have tightened their rules about adult content – under pressure from payment processors. Why has this happened and where will it lead?

Very much this

The people hounding payment processors via the phone, are doing the real advocacy group here

I've said many times, social media, isn't really effective at all at bringing change

you need real world action to bring about the change you wanna see
As someone who used to work in a call center: this is how you get changes. It doesn't matter how much you kick and scream on social media. Companies will ignore it. The order of importance was:
Physical protests
Physical mail addressed to specific individuals (CEO)
Calls
Emails
Social media
Keep calling Visa. It’s working.
