Maybe Trump was right to trust Netanyahu.
Israeli intel says they stopped Iran’s nuclear weapons program — which is both impressive and true… since it never existed.

Tullarna till Kina har ökat till 125%, övriga världen 10%. Dvs lika mycket som tidigare för de flesta länder (inklusive Pingvinernas kungarike). Möjligtvis en sänkning för vissa länder.

Peter Navarro made up a fake expert named Ron Vara, quoted him in his book, and no one noticed. He still landed a White House job. Because in America, books are for coffee tables—not for reading.

You’re absolutely right! The headline is very misleading. Most countries already had a 10% tariff in place, so calling this a “pause” is quite deceptive. In fact, it’s actually an increase for China.
April 9, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Because those Tarrifs would be payed by the Europeans. Tariffs are very stupid and only needed as a bargain chip. They could say 2029 for all I care.

Just last week, the Republicans won two special elections in Florida for the House of Representatives. Clearly, a slim majority of voters in the U.S. support the direction things are currently heading or don't care. I believe most Europeans are aware of this, but we still struggle to understand why.

Straight down for the dollar as well, seams bad.
April 3, 2025 at 1:55 PM
The dollar’s is also tanking and I’m not entirely convinced Mike, the guy in the yellow vest, had a solid plan.
April 3, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Norway is not included either. If you don't count the Islands Svalbard and Jan Mayen thats on the list.
April 2, 2025 at 10:01 PM
I presume Mike - the vest guy who knows more about tariffs than every economist - has this covered. If it was not for Mike I would be a little bit worried. But Mike - what does Svalbard make that should be made in the U.S - is a question I want to know the answer to.
April 2, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Salmon that only swims in Svalbard waters and no regular North Sea Norwegian Salmon. Mike sure is a Salmon expert if that is the case.
April 2, 2025 at 9:38 PM
You should have asked the vest guy called Mike. Apparently he knows everything. Although as the list includes Svalbard with 10% I am not totally confident about Mikes skills...
April 2, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Men Trump har Mike - killen i västen - bättre än alla ekonomer. Frågan jag har är varför är Svalbard med på listan med 10% tull. Vad köper Mike från Svalbard som han vill ska tillverkas i USA. Så många frågor...
April 2, 2025 at 9:30 PM
I really want to know what Mike buys from Svalbard thats on the list - but not Norway. Mike is no expert in countries but pretty good in finding Islands.
April 2, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Svalbard, what have they done. Why this place and not Norway but now I really want to know what the US imports from Svalbard.
April 2, 2025 at 9:23 PM
A little slow tomorrow - but Mikes got it covered.
April 2, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Thats old news already. But Mike's got it covered he knows more than all economist.
April 2, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Everything’s fine. Mike — the guy in the vest — says it’s no biggie. He’s got the global economy covered.
April 2, 2025 at 9:11 PM
The global economy? Don’t worry, it’s being handled by a guy in a vest. Name’s Mike, apparently — if it were anyone else, we might actually be in trouble.
April 2, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Thank God Mike - the guy in the vest is handling the world economy — if it were anyone else, we might actually be in trouble.
April 2, 2025 at 8:24 PM
I really hope Europe takes the smart route—imposing tariffs only on non-essential items like bourbon, and merely threatening or gradually introducing others—so we avoid making the same short-sighted mistakes as the U.S. At the same time, we should strengthen social media regulation instead.
