I don't think it is totally imaginary. Feynman didn't treat women well. It is well known enough that he comes up as the example of some level of mistreated of women is ok. So people know he was a misogynist yet we still worship him. I am not ok with that.

I only recently learned he was in the Epstein files. Sadly reading a brief history of time in high school was one of the things that made me think about becoming a physicist. My solution to this was the last year I taught high school I actually had my students read part of Chandra's book instead.
