The SCjudgement was very clear, as is the EHRC guidance. The government are afraid of trans activists so are using delaying tactics. The guidance has to be presented to Parliament, so either Labour MPs have to approve it or be put in the embarrassing position of voting against their own government.

JKR is pro-women, she funds Beira’s Place, a women only rape crisis centre in Edinburgh. If you consider being in favour of women’s rights to be “anti-trans” it just proves that trans ideology is anti-women, a men’s rights movement.

Yes, the guidance is to ensure organisations stay within the law. The government have had the guidance for months, why are they delaying approval and putting organisations at risk of expensive legal challenges? Phillipson needs to get on and approve it.

The EHRC guidance is to provide advice to enable organisations to abide by the law. The SC judgement was very clear, sex means biological sex. Self-id has never been recognised in law, but the judgment clarified that those with a GRC were also legally their natal sex with limited exceptions.

Maybe it’s a class thing,my middle class girl friends had very supportive parents & seemed quite confident & comfortable in their own skin. My girl friends from the council estate, where I grew up, started to value themselves by how much attention they got from men & boys as soon as they hit puberty
