New Year’s Day is just a day. It’s an arbitrary point in time chosen to mark the new calendar year. But Earth constantly goes around the sun. It doesn’t stop and start. So if you feel like you didn’t achieve what you wanted to achieve in 2024, it doesn’t matter. You get another go at it. #joinin

Starting to see posts showing people “coming home for the holidays.”

I’m happy for them. But I started wondering when that phrase stopped having any meaning for me.

I’ve got no “home” like they call home. I’m not estranged from family but I just never felt I belonged anywhere like that.
