I’ve started picking up trash on my Friday morning walks. This morning I filled a whole bag! It’s just such an easy thing to do. I follow my usual walking route, but I bring a trash bag with me once a week.

Starting a new #crochet project - socks transformed into fingerless gloves. The feet wore out so I cut them off and I’ll use the cuffs for my base. It’s also a nice way to use up yarn from past projects. Annie approves. #reuse #upcycle #fiberart #cats

This morning I said goodbye to my sweet, beautiful kitty Miss Pickles. She came to me when she was six months old and was part of my life for 16 years. She had advanced kidney disease. I will miss her so much. My heart is so very sad today.

Is it just coincidence that TWC (and affiliated sites) added a class action limitation to their terms of use after so much of the NOAA/NWS data access is being impacted? I used the wayback machine to double check and it was not there before.
CLASS ACTION LIMITATION. You and TWC agree that neither of party will sue the other as a class plaintiff or class representative, join as a class member, or participate as an adverse party in any way in a class action lawsuit against the other. Nothing in this paragraph, however, limits your rights or TWC’s rights to bring a lawsuit against the other as an individual plaintiff.

My sweet, senior kitty Miss Pickles is not doing well. Haven Veterinary Hospice is coming tomorrow to give her a quality of life assessment. I may be saying goodbye tomorrow or making her as comfortable as passively for what time she has left. This never gets easier. 1/2

I’ve been watching these daffodils that I see on one of my walking routes for over a week now. They look ready to burst and today the first one opened! It’s a cold and rainy day so this was a cheery thing to see.

My mum made me several knit wash cloths a number of years ago. One started to unravel so I frogged it and then made a new one! 🧶

I wanted to use up some cotton scrap yarn and I was in need of some dishcloths. These are the result!

I was out for a walk and saw the track signal was on indicating what I thought would be a train, would be going by soon. So I waited and this is what appeared about two minutes later. 🚂🚛
