I have two favorites. One is Battle Cry of Freedom. The other is about post World War II Germany and the Nuremberg trials by Telford Taylor. The U.S. legal team was headed up by the incomparable Robert Jackson, who would later become a Supreme Court justice.

Terrific pictures of you, the Mrs. and your beautiful grands! Now for some more cuteness: here’s Val (short for “Valor,” not sure we’re keeping it)! This was taken 1/2 hour after his arrival yesterday, and he was already settled in and happy. Goofy and a real love bug. Safe travels!

After losing our best girl just before Christmas, we welcomed this handsome little gent into our home earlier this week. This was taken less than 1/2 hour following his arrival, and Val obviously had no problem fitting in! What a love bug ❤️❤️

I love the versions of Giulio Cesare and Messiah that you have pictured. My go to Handel is an album of arias, several from Theodora, sung by Lorraine Hunt Lieberson. Her “As With Rosy Steps the Morn” simply breaks my heart.
