I’m not sure if it’s changed, but the lack of BBC content of YT was disappointing when my kids were younger. They should have treated it like a distribution channel, but they wall gardened stuff off.

Not a silver bullet of course, but I think it would help.

I'm most delighted they spelt Wards correctly and didn't drop the S, or call me Warts or something like that.

All this reminds me of is playing hide and seek with my middle kid when he was 3.

“Ready or not here I come”

Walks into kitchen to find this.

Does that have a skiddy handbrake? Or is that not a good idea with merch in the back...

I'm gutted my new car has a leccy one 🙁

But the boys learning to drive 2008 Swift has one and I'm looking forward to taking it home from school run when it's a bit skiddy.

Pretty sure I heard @carpervert.bsky.social on @smithandsniff.bsky.social pod cast a long time ago talking about leaks in a car and using something like to fix it.

Seemed like a neat idea to me!

I'm slightly disappointed, but keep it up, I enjoy the live action #WeirdCarBS

Do you just stand there with your camera out? Like those lads with cameras outside of car shows, but just at the side of a normal road on a normal day?

😀

I was also sunburnt, only one half of my face, and drunk.

I'd spent the afternoon in the beer garden facing east after my last exam of the term at Uni.

My media highlight.

As someone who listens often to the F1 bbc radio coverage, yes it works and it is brilliant.

See I wasn’t sure. It also could be Ed, bar the whole going clubbing and dancing to techno. He’d have been dancing to S club in his 20s.

I was the age of my eldest when we last qualified. (Where did the time go??)

Sadly my youngest supports England and I’d have to pay money to watch England.

So I’m going to stick to my principals and protest the orange one 😂

Very much a football fan here and dancing about my living room with my eldest will live with me forever.

Football’s excellent sometimes.

Oh to work for a Danish company. Bloody brilliant.

I was basically the same age as my eldest lad last time we qualified for the World Cup. We just danced around the room.

What a game.

Yeah get that. To me the fun bit is solving the problem. Not to fussed how.

It can be very good in the right hands.
November 18, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Well that’s the problem then. Coding tools should be used by engineers. Tools are experience amplifiers, AI or not.

There is a good product in here. But a limited one.
November 18, 2025 at 8:22 PM
Was the coworker an engineer? If so why didn’t they review their own code??
