I’ve got the apprentice fitting the new electric fan and putting the radiator back in.
Let’s not talk about me over tightening the rad clip and breaking it. New one on order, hopefully we don’t leak to much coolant over night.
Annoyingly none of the car spares places near by had the right size.

It was all going so well today. Boy2 had done most of the work to get the radiator out, get the fan pully out etc. Putting it all back together was fine as well.
Then I came in to provide the muscle to tighten the fan belt.
And this happened. Off to look at recondition alternators. 😭

The problem with kids who play rugby in England is that I've had to register with the English RFU, and I have to put up with getting emails from them.

The village over had a new car show this year, sadly, I turned up after most of the 75+ cars had left due to kiddo sport in the morning.
The Alvis was the star of the show, and it was perfect.
The paint on the Rover 45 was lovely, so shiny, well looked after.
