Looking to manage a pool using home assistant, does anyone have any good resources for devices and integrations?

Starting to get some soil sensors for home assistant. Are there any good plant manager plugins for HA?

First round of batteries for my Zigbee devices since installing. I wish there was better reporting for when a device runs out. Took a few days to realize the problem.

Got my Everything Presence Lite today. Can't wait to mess around with this thing. Does anyone have any tips or #homeassistant automation suggestion?

Has anyone else feel like you have outgrown the UI for #HomeAssistant Automations? Have you considered switching to something else? I know there’s Node Red, but it’s still quite UI-focused. Have you had any luck with an alternative?

How is everyone automating your holiday lighting? This year I am using labels to group my disparate devices together. This allows me to have a single automation that toggles. I can quickly configure them from the device by adding the label to the entity. Pretty cool new feature. #homeassistant

Oh man @home-assistant.io, the new scene review page is great but still not being able to edit the values without affecting the status of the devices in my house is still driving my family nuts. Lol

Does anyone else have an issue with creating an away mode sensor in #HomeAssistant in iOS? It either takes forever to update or just doesn't because iOS requires you to open the app.

Does anyone else set a #HomeAssistant sensor to set different home statuses throughout the day? This way you can have a single check for time of day in your automations. An automation just needs to check if it’s night mode to start turning on lights.
