Near the end of 2021, I decided to read every book in the house. (I kept buying in the meantime.) This weekend I finished (with John Gwynne’s “The Fury of the Gods,” last book of a great trilogy) and my family surprised me with a cake! 📚💙

I’m a sucker for found family books. I’ve probably read Becky Chambers’ “A Closed and Common Orbit” 10 times, not counting the times I just go right to the end for a quick ugly-cry. 💙📚
