At school I felt alienated by students from more affluent areas with liberal/left-wing views, and felt I had more of an affinity with other students from poorer backgrounds, who sometimes had racist parents. I can sympathise with people having a distrust towards the left because of this.

I think if the left wants to have an impact in a way the liberals aren’t doing, we need to be honest about there being issues in the world, but help them understand they need to be around people in the same boat, as collective power is the only thing that’s going to help any of us.

They target them while they’re young so they develop a cognitive bias against anyone who challenges their assertions. It’s not likely that someone of working age would come to the conclusion that being divided will help them.

The best way to understand these people is to ask them about their families… they see their siblings not succeeding with employment and struggling with relationships, and want to believe they can rise above it.

Novara Media hasn’t though - he lied bottom of the barrel ‘proof’ while ignoring their actual articles and YouTube videos. He doesn’t want the left to be able to learn, he wants Putin to win them over because it makes him feel good
