The costly, low-performance West Seattle light rail plan requires construction causing terrible environmental harm. Fortunately, the pending NEPA environmental review from @usdot.bsky.social is still open for the input of Mr. Pagel and other Seattle citizens who prefer better transit alternatives.
Mexico City is getting longer buses and more gondola lines - either could improve West Seattle transit service sooner than spending $7b on a SODO to Junction stub.
Chinese bus manufacturer Yutong, the world's largest bus manufacturer. On Jan 28 unveiled a fully electric 26m long bi articulated high floor bus built for Mexico City's BRT system. I am so ready for Longboi 2: Electric Bus Boogaloo.
