Rainbow eucalyptus is a fast-growing evergreen that is native to tropical regions of the world.
The most striking feature is the trunk which grows rainbow bark. As the tree grows, the bark peels off in strips to reveal new colors and patterns. 🌈

Nature is amazing. Protect it. #BlueEarth

Since the new bridge is almost three times longer than this one we predict bison jams will take a lot longer as well. Difficult prediction that one.

The solution is to save the old bridge, save the tens of millions it would take to remove it and showcase it as a wildlife overpass.

Bison are pretty hard on an old bridge. Built in the 60s it's falling apart and the parks concerned in make it till they finish the new bridge, which is running behind schedule.

This herd likely weighs more than a line of cars and campers.

Greeting you on Bluesky with this reminder

They are living, thinking, feeling beings

And they deserve our respect, even if we haven't earned theirs.

These stars have a lot of energy to let loose!
The two stars at the center of this James Webb Space Telescope image appear as an orange-white splotch. They are ingesting and ejecting gas and dust … over and over. Millions of years from now, they’ll clear the scene.

When the James Webb Space Telescope observed the Horsehead Nebula in infrared light earlier this year, it took this sharp image of the top of the horse’s “mane,” a distinctive dust and gas structure.
