👦🏻 Labour’s two-child cap has pushed 30,000 children into poverty across the UK since the election - 300,000 by the end of this Parliament, according to @cpaguk.bsky.social

More of Renfrewshire’s young people have gone into positive destinations after leaving school.

Over 97% entered into apprenticeships, training, college, university or work — an increase of 0.7% on last year.

About as surprising as Farage in a flatcap. Given Cllr Leishman's recent comments on Councillors switching groups it looks like his principles were the first thing to be 'reformed' in his desperate pursuit of a place on the Reform list for Holyrood.

The Scottish Parliament has just voted to pass the SNP Government's budget at stage one.

Our budget includes a record £21 billion for the NHS and scraps Labour's two-child cap.

The only parties not to vote for these policies were Labour and the Tories.

Our clean-up operation following Storm Eowyn is continuing.

Our teams are working to assess the damage caused by the storm and carry out repairs.

Our services opened today as normal.

All schools and ELCCs, expect Renfrew High, were also able to re-open.

All Renfrewshire schools and council-run nurseries will be closed on Friday (24 Jan) following a Met Office red weather warning for wind.

Council buildings will be closed and bin collections cancelled during the warning, which is in place from 10am to 5pm.
