Seems the US Govt not following its own guidelines from the Board of Geographic Names on name changes (d9-wret.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/assets/palla...), especially with respect to local use. We should all submit requests to change back to Gulf of Mexico on the grounds of local use.
