Ah me too. Just genuine curiosity at work. Sorry if it came off the wrong way!

Isn't 'less' more conventional when there's a number though?

I've heard arguments from both sides. I need something conclusive to retain what's left of my sanity!

Appreciate it! I tried using a decal initially but looked like it was doing a lot of work on the single js thread recalculating the 'splat' each frame.

Custom shaders are a great idea, maybe that's the way to go with JS.

I guess I'll download & mess around some more with Unity, it's been a minute!

Love it! Could you share any details about how you're projecting the circle onto the terrain?

I'm trying to achieve something similar with threejs/javascript but am doing it in a way that I'm not sure is optimal (with a spotlight using a custom texture).

Thanks!

If we take rate of likes as a general measure of activity, that means X was about 30 times bigger in June than Bluesky is now. That may seem like a big difference, but keep in mind that Bluesky has consistently been doubling user numbers every few months, and a factor of 30 is only 5 doublings.

A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we hear their concerns with other platforms training on their data. We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.

Does 'open' mean free in this context? Or that there will always be some way for devs to get access?

I realize in the LLM-era unfortunately this is no longer something that can easily be promised, so I was hoping you could clarify.

Thank you
