If Democratic congressional leadership don’t lead an en masse halt to all legislative business after today, I don’t know why they’re worth supporting. What moment could more demand a response of intractable and tedious opposition? Shut it all down, and refuse to budge.

My concept is a working class building project, an economic engine that could be adopted in any city, demonstrating to politicians the living wage jobs, creative collaboration, and future-oriented thinking that citizens are seeking. Start small, with daily meal and meeting menus, and build it up
