Fujinokawa is one of the smallest rikishi in Sumo but yet he's undefeated through five days. Outweighed by over 100 lbs here, but he simply overwhelms his opponent with leverage to express his considerable power.

Only 121 kgs (~266 lbs)!

Here, you can see the slight difference between QW's stance this year (1st picture; more weight on feet, but down, head up) and his stance when he played with Whitecotton (2nd image; more forward in stance with more weight on hands, but higher, head not up as far).

Quick slap arm-over against the LG short set for a pressure here.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
I like Quinnen Williams rushing the passer a bit more from the A-gap, as it gives him a more direct line to the QB. Hits a club on the center with a quick swim on the LG for pressure here.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Quinnen Williams' rotational strength to shed can help him rushing the passer too. Initiated with a near should long arm and looks for an arm over but transitions into a shurg to get to an edge and pressure the QB.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
After battering OL, Quinnen Williams can throw a changeup and use his subtle quickness for quick wins and backfield production.

15 of his 23 stops this year have been for a loss or no gain.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Quinnen Williams isn't the most athletic DT, but he has enough functional athleticism to make plays outside of his area. More than a few plays were he's screaming down the LOS to make stops. Impressive for such a big, strong dude.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Quinnen Williams stones the initial double then shrugs the LT and makes another stop. He has insane strength in his hands and rotational power to shed.

DAL has desperately needed an IDL that can shed blocks consistently.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Another thing that jumps out with Quinnen Williams is how efficently and consistently he sheds blocks in the run game.

One again resets the LOS with initial contact, creates separation, finds the ball carrier, sheds and makes another stop.
November 5, 2025 at 7:44 PM
One thing you'll notice about Quinnen Williams is how often he can reset the LOS in the run on initial contact. Jacks up the LT off the snap here, absorbs the combo, sheds and makes the stop.

Here's how QW has fared in PFF's stable metrics for DT over the past 3 years.

How new #Cowboys DT Quinnen Williams has fared in PFF's stable metrics for the positon in 2025.

Beautiful rush from Ezeiruaku against McGlinchey here. Strong get-off with no false step and feints the inside while stepping toward 69, which draws out his strike. Eze expands outside with his next step while also parrying the strike with a swipe. He then corners & accelerates for the QB hit.

He wasn't perfect by any means, but I thought Tyler Booker showed off the traits that make you bullish on his future in DAL. He was one the few who was movin dudes yesterday. #Cowboys

Not good when the savior to your team's run defense blocks himself while the OL barely touches him
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
And you remember Williams not anticipating the crack block earlier in the thread? Well the "bad run defender" anticipates the crack and magically the defense gets a stop against the toss!

Many believed it was impossible!!,,,,,, (same as previous clip)
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Remember when Jerry was selling wolf tickets that the reason James Houston doesn't play more snaps is because of his issues against the run (even though Sam Williams continues to play a lotta snaps)?
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
You tell me:

Is this Kenneth Murray taking a terrible angle or running away from a block?
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
DAL slants the left side of the their DL, which usually means the LB have to shoot their gaps to take advantage. However, Kenneth Murray decides to just chill in the end zone for **reasons**.
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
As a DL, when you have an advantage by alignment, it is PARAMOUNT that you don't get reached.

Kenny Clark failed to do that here. Even though he fights to get back to his primary gap, it's an easy 7-yard gain for DEN.

This type of stuff erodes the foundation of your run defense.
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Kenneth Murray's slow processing rears its head again. With the TE sift & Osa getting washed, Murray needs to adjust his fit to fill backside quickly, but he takes way too long to process and just sticks around the 2nd level for funsies. (same as previous clip)
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Elam takes the worst possible angle to insert into the run fit, like he was doing it with blinders on.
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
More bad run defense from multiple defenders.

Osa gets turned sideways (making it near-impossible to fill any gap, gotta get square) and washed down the LOS.
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Slightly less confident in this, but I also think Bland should have replaced Williams after the crack to prevent the LT from getting so out in front and stretch the defense.

Literally no one gets off a block. I'm already over watching this week's All22 lol. (same clip as previous)
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Sam Williams, somehow, doesn't anticipate the crack block despite the situation and the WR's tight split (micah and DLaw were great at anticipating this). (same clip as previous)
