Even if Colombia is right for demanding human rights of deportees, wouldn't it still be better to accept them? You're just making them suffer more and longer if you refuse deportation flights. Let the citizens be free again in their mother country.
Not accurate. Colombia accepts many deportation flights. Columbia objected to deportees arriving in U.S. military flights in chains. This was resolved by having Colombia’s demands met.
The United States and Colombia averted a trade war, for now, after the White House said late Sunday that Bogotá agreed to accept deportation flights from the United States.
