Lodmoor yesterday: 2 Wood Sandpipers and a Cattle-egret were the best of the bunch. Common Tern, Greenfinch and Comma butterfly posed nicely for photos.

Went for a hike up in La Pedriza again this weekend. Didn't see many birds, certainly not any Wallcreepers that I always hope for (maybe one day!), but did have a close encounter with this Ibex.

Had a great time patching in 2024. Loved getting to know individual characters, including multiple breeding pairs of Goshawk, Sparrowhawk and Tawny Owl. Privilege to have such a big and wild city park on my doorstep. Red Squirrels and first foxes too.
