There are 2 more cats I’ve yet to post pics of but I just came across this one and had to post it. They say you shouldn’t have a favourite child <gulp!>. This is Cleo - she has been with us over 10 years now and I adore her. I’m sure the feeling is mutual.

Another of our rescues, Archi also came from Egypt. He’s a bit of bruiser, weighing in at around 7 kilos which is pretty normal for his type, he is reminiscent of a Turkish Van and is as solid as they come but he has learned how to cat and will sit contentedly on our laps.

2 more of our cats, Ella-Mae and Cleo. Both are rescues from Egypt and have settled well with us in the UK in the years since they arrived.

I’ve been here a week now. I’ve not been to the other place in that time … I haven’t missed it, whereas here, it just feels… right!
Everything seems more civil. I don’t agree with everyone’s opinion but nobody is telling me that I’m wrong to not agree with them. I hope it doesn’t change, I’m happy.

Dexter will be making a lengthy trip on Tuesday to a specialist vet dentist to take a good look at his mouth health. He may have to have a lot of teeth removed 😬🤞
