Love the UP Express—but it needs to run later! All flights got in late tonight because of the weather and Pearson is an absolute zoo. Since the last train left before anyone got through customs, taxis and Ubers are the only way outta here and there aren’t nearly enough for this amount of people.

Just learned that Marisa Paredes died last month--right in the middle of TIFF's Almodóvar retrospective, ft many of her most iconic roles. The week before she passed, I watched her as a love-crazed novelist in The Flower of My Secret. The day after, as a masochistic acid queen nun in Dark Habits.

I thought the Canada’s Drag Race premiere was great! There’s a different energy this year—feels like the franchise is embracing its own identity. After so many seasons and spin-offs, it’s a real breath of fresh air. And what an important moment to be focusing on the trans and 2-spirit contestants!
