84% of New Jerseyans think their elected officials are corrupt, and we’ve seen that some of them are. A new generation of leaders is stepping up to change that. By knowing our power and having difficult conversations, we can change the culture of corruption in New Jersey and across the country.

Interesting. Many already look like people. My mother used to say it was a failure of our imagination that we made transmission towers look like ourselves.

The fight against corruption in our NJ politics is a fight between an entitled machine and leaders who care about their accountability to voters. The future is not with the machine.

I want to see and hear more opposition to a needless Trump war
Invading Venezuela will do nothing to protect the United States and directly puts American lives at risk. We must stand up now and stop President Trump from dragging us into war with Venezuela.

Great leaders prepare new leaders.
I’ve learned that a new generation of leaders doesn’t just come about on its own. I just hosted an amazing gathering of 100 young leaders who are ready to step up to run for office, run campaigns, and run for the people. (1/2)

A promised vote on the ACA? See, they can’t include the ACA without having to bring the House back into session - and they’d have to swear in Grijalva. That’s what this is all about. Protecting the Epstein files.

We'll see if Axios is full of shit again or not.

Last summer, on a road trip to Nova Scotia, my kid was asked where he was from. When he said New Jersey, he was met with a blank expression. The inquirer had no concept of U.S. states. He followed up "near New York City," and got a nod of understanding. →

Totally, @aoc.bsky.social. I used to believe we NYers were exceptional, more informed, more enlightened. But after Giuliani, Bloomberg and now the apparent popularity of Andrew Cuomo, I have to recognize we live in the same haze of cheap simpleness and smallness as the rest of our country.
It is actually nuts that even when the NYC political establishment was presented with a broad field of talented candidates w/ many ideas, in a time of generational change & anti-corruption, they STILL chose to line up behind scandal-ridden Andrew Cuomo.

It’s cowardice.
