Lad I know who goes out from Nairn fishing had some amazing sightings. Saw one bit of video he took of a shark slowly sliding under his boat and looking up - his camera was on a pole u/water so the perspective was brilliant with the boat above the shark!

The number of baskers has grown year on year. We were sat on Nairn beach recently with a telescope & could see at least 4 along the edge of the Black Isle. On a previous kayak trip to Coll & Tiree there were so many the CalMac ferry had to slowly avoid them on arrival/departure. Great to witness.

To render the livers for their oil he used a steam railway engine! It was brought by rail from the south of England, up to Mallaig, and across to Soay by boat. Its rusting hulks remains slowly succumbing to the salty west coast air. If you ever get the chance it's worth the effort to visit.

I feel your pain. New A3+ Epson (40KG weight) failed 1 week in. Tech came, a 200 mile r.t. With no parts. Went away. Replacement refurb printer arrived. Damaged irreparably in transit (print head not fastened) so would not work. Third refurb printer came, would not work properly. I gave up.

It's an amazing place. I wandered slowly through the USA in my youth over a couple of years (1979/80) & was met with overwhelming kindness & complexity of origin - Cubans, Germans, Italians, Mexicans - so many 'facets of belonging' which makes it so rich & vibrant.

Thats a bizarre collection. I try to avoid Bruar so am not that familiar with current trends. My preference for authentic Northern styles is Highland Industrial Supplies where the bears are usually in the clothes rather than embroidered on the outside...

So to summarize, your image is packed with mistakes, uses an exploitative tech, fails to communicate a clear message, displays your ignorance, insults the people of that county, makes you look like environmental vandals and fails to describe your key demographic.
This is why you pay a designer. 7/7

Lovely! Remember seeing those in the olde tymes and some of the work was truly inspiring and magical. Well...just like this in fact! The original digital manipulation!

And we're beside the trig point in which someone had left a bunch of roses. There's a story there perhaps. But you can imagine what it might be, of that I'm certain...

However...it was installed in a BBC Micro in a day centre I worked in and it elicited strong responses in one person I worked with who had access to it (young woman with learning difficulty). It in itself was not 'useful' but the discussion it enabled me to have with young woman was very much so.
