'project64' has been around for EVER and is the de-facto 64 emulator afaik or 'bizhawk' (built for speedrunners but I like how little setup is required) for N64 games.

my only criticism is that they expect too much precision from someone playing on controller, I had the aim assist and stickiness settings cranked but I was still struggling
I wish the stuns lasted a smidge longer and that going into first person was snappier but somehow I managed to get through it
