In-person experiences like music lessons, band programs, live performance!

If you shifted online during the pandemic, start shifting back to in-person soon.
Within the next 3 years, there will be so much AI, in particular AI video, people won’t know if what they see or hear is real. Which will lead to an explosion of f2f engagement, events and jobs.

Those that were in the office will be in the field.

Call it the Milli Vanilli effect

Get parents of prospective students in the phone!

Ask them about their child’s:
✅ musical goals
✅ personality
✅ learning style

Understanding these things will lead to better results, and better retention. Much more so than, “what time works for you.”

Emphasizing note reading in music lessons may be an outdated tradition. Tim Topham explains that it comes from a time before recorded music. Meaning, the ONLY way to hear music was to play it from sheet music.

Time to update our methods!

The hallmark of expertise is no longer how much you know. It's how well you synthesize.

Information scarcity rewarded knowledge acquisition. Information abundance requires pattern recognition.

It's not enough to collect facts. The future belongs to those who connect dots.
