But tariffs raise prices at home, shrink trade, and slow growth.
You can’t fund relief by taxing consumption and call it discipline.
That’s not reform - it’s theater for a collapsing economy.

On point! The slowdown always shows up on the ground first - empty roads, quiet stores, fewer hands moving. The reports come later, when the damage is already lived.

Wages are up on paper, but it’s mostly at the top.
For everyone else, the basics - food, rent, insurance - erased the gains.
The numbers say “growth.” The lives underneath say “decline.”
