I thought this from fun Sotomayor's dissent pretty telling, on how the exact same arguments on scientific uncertainty were presented to the court in Loving about interracial marriage:

You can be sick of it, but it isn't going away, and ignoring, marginalizing, or demonizing it doesn't actually protect anyone and pushes it away from regulatory reach, not closer to it. And, as Mark argues, it has electoral consequences.

Asset class. But yeah, it's an industry too, it's actually several industries of varying degrees of usability, respectability, and value. I know many talented artists whose primary source of income is NFTs of their hand painted art, that's valuable, they can create more art. But go off.

All things being even, it's a $3T industry, regulatory clarity instead of hostility is just smart. Gensler really dropped the ball.

I feel like you're giving this chop shop too much credit. They are trying to dismantle government and empower the executive branch for a Christian nationalist takeover of government like in project 2025.
