Christmastime w/ the Gov 🎄

Thankful for everything on my 24th birthday 💙 it’s been a hard year personally, physically, and otherwise but I’m looking forward to what the next year holds.

Speaker Mike Johnson posted a photo bragging about hosting this guy in his office. I don’t think bragging about erasing people (because this is about trans *people*) from the earth is something that should be accepted, much less lifted up by our elected leaders.

I turn 24 in one week. Oof.

Right around this time last year was when my doctor called and told me I had a tumor. We didn’t know what it was beyond that, but we knew the possibilities. This year I’m most thankful that, for all the challenges, I’m on the other side.

Given the news today, character limits won’t let me say all I want to about Senator Bob Casey, but working for Sen. Casey was the honor of my life. I’ve never met a Senator so focused on helping others, from disability policy to fighting fentanyl, he truly fought for people. Thank you, Senator.
