I just spent a half hour in doctors waiting room with nothing but the 700 Club on TV. I'll take Blues Traveler.

Nice with the Deer Tick shirt @timmiller.bsky.social. I'm closer to @billkristolbulwark.bsky.social's age, but appreciate it.

Yeah probably a pretty common band name, but cool to dig up this tidbit. Sounds like these guys were earlier 80s too, though definitely was late 80s I saw them. Betting what happened was they just reformed to open this show since they shared members with the two headliners.

I remembered the Drummer's name was Tad and found this. Definitely related to both Fellows and Scruffy. www.reddit.com/r/vintageobs...

The bands seemed to know each other, and I think the drummer also played with either Scruffy or the Fellows.

About the same time, saw a hilarious show in Boston with them—or a band by the same name—along with Scruffy the Cat and Young Fresh Fellows. Of the hundreds of club shows I saw, that one always stands out as the funniest, and probably the only one where I remember all 3 bands on a set 40 years later

Red Sox fan who lived through 86, but definitely the worst non-Sox loss I can remember.
