-Next Wave UI button updated with wave info placeholder on hover
-turrets predicting intercept and firing on enemies
-walls button disables during the enemy wave

i remembered that i still exist, so behold! game dev project update:
-early gameplay UI with game speed toggle
-new tower model + walls (made by @drillian.bsky.social)
-enemy unit placeholders with pathfinding

still got some issues to work out, but it's coming along!

another snippet of the game dev project i showed off a month ago. it's a tower defense game i'm working on with @drillian.bsky.social!

i set up states for the player for placing walls (which also highlights the selected grid space), and building turrets on them.

World's Strongest was ahead of the curve

playing Elder Scrolls Online and had forgotten how great Sheogorath's Khajiit form is

started messing with the gridmap and navigation mesh stuff in godot for a project i'm hoping to show more of soon.

got the gridmap set up so wall meshes are replaced with instanced wall scenes, and currently the navmesh re-bakes when they're placed (for now).
