Jefferson Griffin and those in the NC Republican Party who want help him cheat are simply deplorable. Why isn’t this a national news story?

Yesterday, he decided to use his influence to convince House Republicans to shut down the government

As a result, TSA agents will be required to report to work over the holidays WITHOUT PAY

The average TSA agent makes less than 50K/year

We have 4 more years of this and we voted for it.
Just a reminder that when Republican leaders force the federal government to shut down, members of our armed services are still required to work, but won't receive their monthly paycheck - right before Christmas.

I think this should be kind of a big deal: Elon Musk tweeting at 1:03am, “Only the AfD can save Germany.”

The AfD is Germany’s neo-Nazi party.

Jeff Bezos has no business running a newspaper.
Jeff Bezos said he is "proud" of his decision to block the Washington Post's endorsement of Harris (which the publisher of the paper initially suggested he had nothing to do with) and "very optimistic" about the Trump presidency and Trump's plans "around reducing regulation"

Spent the afternoon at the National Gallery. Can’t recommend the Paris 1874 exhibition enough. It closes Jan. 19. Especially loved the chance to see Claude Monet’s “Impression, Sunrise” without the jet lag from a flight to Paris.

Last year, Patel said he would “come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections. We’re going to come after you, whether it’s criminally or civilly — we’ll figure that out.”
Breaking news: President-elect Donald Trump said Saturday that he planned to replace FBI Director Christopher A. Wray with Kash Patel, a move that would install a staunch loyalist atop an agency Trump has repeatedly criticized.
Trump says he will replace FBI Director Wray with loyalist Kash Patel
Trump picked Christopher Wray to lead the FBI in 2017, then soured on him before leaving office. Trump would have to fire Wray — or Wray would have to resign — for Patel to take over the bureau.

It would be a real dereliction of duty to our nation's children to invite the return of vaccine-preventable diseases. Bringing polio, measles, diphtheria, under control is something we have been working on for a century -- successfully.
