A very good time for British Indy music. Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys first album, The Zutons, Cold War Kids, The Fratellis, Elbow, Eighties matchbox B-line Disaster. Lots of really good music that seems lost to time now. (And yeah, that first album rocks!)

Haven’t rewatched it but it looks like Bentancour was getting held up. Not a great way to give up an equalizer to be sure.

There’s a video of Jack Whitehall about 8 years ago interviewing Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli, and he makes a comment about spurs and Dele looks at Sonny and says, “Call him what I taught you.” And Sonny smiles and says, “F*@kin donut!” It was brilliant.

I haven’t seen it recently but do they also talk about being hit in the solar plexus? That and “crimson mask” would really hit the Gordon Solie trifecta.
