I just met with legal counsel for my constituent, Dr. Badar Khan Suri.

Dr. Suri is a global conflict scholar at Georgetown who was detained without explanation by masked agents outside his Arlington home, then disappeared without due process to a prison 1,300 miles from his wife and children. 1/

Dr. Suri is not charged with a crime, the Administration is targeting him to instill fear on campuses and clamp down on free speech.

What that they've done to Dr. Suri is wrong, and he should be released. I will continue to speak up about his case as courts consider it in the days ahead. 2/2

I have this idea. Next gathering, along with signs, bring a harmonica. Bring your blues harp. Bring it. Bob Dylan did. Woody Guthrie did. Bring 2 or bring 20. I can imagine 10,000 making that sound. Can you imagine a million? Pass it on.

Full? Well Knowing

Going fifth we found
A damp toad
A scarred crow

Crossed roads
Railway tracks
Sounds of a town

What is the code?
That snake by the lake?

Those fish in the field?

Who gives the signal?

It's the girls
And some boys

Or maybe the ghosts?
The lambs?
A lark?

What WASN'T on the cover of the Sunday Washington Post this morning? I would guess over 100,000 people. Could have been many more. To compare, NorthWest Stadium (né Fedex Field) holds 67,100. This was way more than that.

Can someone get a satellite photo and do a real estimate?

Pretty much everyone who saw this coming, saw this coming.

Pretty much everyone who thought he was going to succeed at MAGA ... didn't see this coming.

Lately I've seen the word "nearly" used in articles, when "almost" feels better to my ear. Is there a difference?

Gaga's first song Abracadabra on SNL with the cane has (accidentally?) repped Rep. Al Green. That's a major symbol right now. Everybody get a cane and carry it everywhere. Stand up.
