Notre Dame failed to beat any team that made the playoffs. They had two chances and lost both. Their ten wins came against teams with a combined 55-65 record. Sorry, but the committee isn't *that* wrong.

And two: hopefully every Trumper who screams that all political violence comes from the left needs to hear and explain how MTG can get death threats after Trump turns on her. Trump is the fount of political hate; I'm not sure how any serious person can miss that.

I remember hearing once that if you're gonna lie, might as well make those lies big and bold and full of conviction. I think the GOP has fully embraced that idea.

I'm sure our family one was nothing special, just something bought at some department store and kept. It was pretty good sized - but maybe I think that because I was small. And it had elaborately carved or molded figures of all the nativity characters and animals.

Trumpers are the most partisan folks I've seen in my life. And one thing about partisans is this: genuine principles confound them. They think everyone thinks like they do. Support the side and use whatever argument works.
