I'm just curious who he thinks is going to sell people healthcare if not insurance companies?

Well here is someone who has it right and has it all wrong, at the same time.

"Capping Ascent" seems presumptuous.

He could easily be Governor some day. Or maybe even a Senator, or....

Good luck with that.

Thanksgiving is the 27th so Black Friday is the 28th.

You really think most people will pass up Black Friday deals because of this?

My strategy at the moment is to throw the max $5300 into a HSA and then the max $7000 into an IRA for this year. That will allow me to lower my estimated income for next year and increase my subsidies. I just need to be close enough to actually hit it with more IRA contributions next year.

The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats.

My favorite part of The Bible.

Matthew 25:31-46

It won't all fit in this post, so here is just Matthew 25:45 (KJV)

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

IMO....

There is a clear pattern of behavior to consider.

Trump has tried to make money on everything from Bibles to Casinos. The list is far too long to go into in one post.

What are the odds that he did not try to make any money from Epstein's trafficking of minors?

It is a political impossibility. It simply can not be done without passing a Constitutional Amendment and that is not going to happen,

Repealing the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929 can be done by simply passing a law, like any other law.

Not a complete fix, but the best available option.

OK, I went "window shopping" and now I need a professional to help me make some decisions.

My "Catch 22":

If I contribute the max to an HSA it lowers my costs, increases my subsidy and saves me on taxes, but it also lowers my deductible so much I do not qualify to contribute to an HSA.

I think you are underestimating the subsidies.

I make slightly over double the FPL and have an ACA subsidy of over $750/month so my out of pocket for a monthly premium is less than forty bucks.

I expect to lose at least $350/month is subsidies. Plus the increase in cost. I'm thinking 10X increase.

Can we please define "vast majority" within this context?

Are you thinking 80% is a vast majority?

If so, then you are saying 20% of the population would not be able to afford market housing under those conditions.

No Restaurants on that sign twice.

Damn, I had no idea restaurant workers were so evil.

Good thing all those tipped employees deserve to not make any money for a week.

P.S. I will shop ahead of time so I buy very little that week but I will still go to work. This may turn allies into enemies.
