Definitely haunted! I can hear the creaks and feel the chills from here. Plus, there’s a ghost in the (text) machine.

She made this tray bake a lot.
This ‘boxty’ recipe page amuses me - I don’t remember her making the recipe but do remember that she was furious with whomever wrote the poem in her book (“spoiling her book”) 😂. I think it was a visiting relative.

I’ve posted this before for #SundayPix: Mum’s ancient recipe book, which I treasure. Everything about it reminds me of her and as today is the 4th anniversary of her passing, it feels right to share it for #SundayPixBooks 😊
(I’m not sad, the memories are happy 😘)

It’s for the frame (this shape ⬇️) and needs to be strong enough for Dad’s fumbling fingers (it’s for a diorama that he wants to make, but he’s very visually impaired so does a lot by feel so it’s likely to get squished and dropped).
Great ideas, thank you, please keep ‘em coming 🤩

Ooohh I love a house hunt, it would be amazing if you found something, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I did a few posts when I first joined here and linked up with a few fellow quilters, but not recently. My stuff is not fancy smanshy but hopefully appreciated xx

The Only Post thing should show up here: (pic 1).
If it doesn’t, go to your feeds (click on the hash symbol see pic 2).
Then type ‘Only Posts’ in the search field under ‘Discover New Feeds’. (Pic 3)
If you set your Feed to ‘Only Posts), you’ll see posts but not replies x

I *could* use Beryl, the stray cat we found and fostered before she was adopted 2 years ago.
But wouldn’t want to mislead anyone about this account.
Because we’re all 💯 honest on here, aren’t we? 😂
At least you’ve got your own personal majestic Elsie 😍

A wet start for a circular walk to Mulgrave Woods and the old Castle, but brightened up late morning. Last full day 😕

Very Good Boy on the bus this morning. His human took off his Guide Dog working harness, so he was free to give big doggy smiles to the passengers and enjoy passing fusses.

Gentle stroll along the beach from Whitby to Sandsend and back. Chilly breeze today, I could’ve done with double-fleecing 😬.

Today’s walk, Robin Hood’s Bay (mooch around looking for sea glass), then back to Whitby on the coastal path. Wherever you look, to the sea or inland, it’s just beautiful.
