We just wrapped up our first Career Week at the middle school. We got some real-world insight into being a police officer and a nurse via Zoom visits. We also got a glimpse of being a Chef from our 2 in-house chefs (y'all our lunches are awesome.) and our own Fire Captain Ms.B! #CareerDay #Teacher

We learned about adhesion and cohesion in the 5th grade this week. Then we tested our nerve and used cohesion
(And surface tension) to build a little bubble of water above the rim of this container (meniscus), taking turns using an eye dropper.

While my 5th graders mined chocolate chips out of cookies today, I put on the dwarves in the the mine scene from Snow White.
Almost immediately one yells "Look! It's Mr.S and his friends!".
