Yes! This commercial was likely so effective because it gave people a reason to buy the drinks other than actually wanting the drink itself. Many people would buy just because it was exciting to find their name. Coca-Cola knew what they were doing with this and they did it well!

This is absolutely very catchy! I think that part of the reason for this is because of the exciting visuals. This likely made the commercial fun for kids to see giving them a positive association with the cereal that could make them ask for it at a later time. The advertisement is done well!

I agree! As discussed in class, this is a classic scenario of causation versus correlation. There is no substantial evidence that proves violent video games could make someone violent in real life. However, people who are already violent may be more likely to play violent video games.

It truly is saddening! The gaming industry seems to be losing much of its old passion for creativity while focusing solely on profit. These new games that keep you paying with microtransactions are unsettling!
